PageFlakes only seems to work for MSIE 6 for now, seems to be in quite
early stages of development. Thanks but no thanks.
Start Pages: NetVibes http://www.netvibes.com/
Ambedo http://www.ambedo.com/ probably goes under command line, start page,

The askeet service, although not
completely finished yet, is a real web 2.0 application. It is based on the
same principle as Yahoo Answers, but is completely AJAX, provides RSS, API,
folksonomy, Markdown formatting, universes, public moderation, and, on top
of that, is an open-source
project.

Sorry for this second post: probably under Start Pages or Aggregators:

How is myspace a web 2.0 website? They might have rss feeds of comments,
but im not even sure of that. Is it just because it is a place to network?
Mefeedia.com is Peter Van Dijck's
videoblog aggregator. It's truly amazing.

Surfwax has powerful search features, something they call "targeted,
multi-source (federated) searching", they somehow use XFN to relate focus
groups through "site snaps". Very advanced stuff, I'm still discovering
how to use it, but the effort is worth it. They also have a bookmarking
service called Nextaris that handles links, clippings and images. You can
combine all those, with user input, in blogs which are part of your
directory structure. It really is awesome and I don't know why more people
are aware of it, maybe it's too complex. Anyways, its worth a look-see.

I don't know where this might fit, but how about "Instant Domain Search":
http://instantdomainsearch.com
gOffice has, imho, better WP
than Writely. I have problems with Writely editing, especially with
complex webclips that are drag-dropped into it. gOffice has a presentation
feature for spiffing up the doc before PDF output.

Schtuff is a great free wiki site,

I have wonderful fun with Protopage. It is a little messier than some of
the others start pages but fits my artistic temperment. Love Wikispaces!!
Great interface and no hassle and friendly folks. Other tools that I like
and have been valuable, Stumble, Pubsub, Thinkfree, Flikr, Delicious,
Google Groups, Yahoo for Mail and Calender, Amazon with their listmania and
user book reviews. The best whiteboard Deepfun.

TagTooga.com is a Wiki web directory (sort of like DMOZ meets Wikipedia)
except anybody can create category/tags and edit entries. An interesting
feature is that you can create your own page in TagTooga to hold links, and
then use the HTML Feed feature to display those links live on your blog or
site. So... the updating and maintenance of the links on THIS page could
be automated by using TagTooga HTML feeds. See

The performancing.com team has just
released a week ago the public beta of PMetrics. PMetrics is a

goodies for myself. Thanks!
Shameless Self Promotion!
Virtual WhiteBoard is a collaboration site I started recently. It allows
several users to share the same canvas for exchanging ideas and designs by
adding notes, text elements, symbols, and images.
Might someone suggest an alternative to writely.com other than zoho and
jotspot?
In the coming months, we'll see more industry specific web services. For
example, the broadcasting industry has been working with InteractiveVoices'
